I was born in Webb, Mississippi, and then in 1970, I relocated from Mississippi to Chicago, Illinois. My upbringing on Chicago’s south side was under the care of my parents, Clarence and Minnie Lee Walker.
In 1983, I completed my studies at Tilden High School, and in 1987, I obtained certification as a dialysis technician. Then, in 1989, I graduated from Olive Harvey College with an associate’s degree in science.
In 2002, I became a member of Salvation’s Free Christian Fellowship Church. I obtained my license as a minister in 2013, followed by ordination in 2018, along with various other achievements and awards. In 2023, I retired from the Post office with 31 years of service.
Deacon Tyrone White is my husband, and we have two wonderful sons, Anthony and Timothy, as well as four beautiful grandchildren.
One of the most meaningful passages for me in the Bible is from Isaiah 61, verses one, two, and three. My main mission in life is to preach righteousness of Jesus Christ to those who are overlooked and looked down on.
