Apostle Pastor Isiah King “Emeritus”

Apostle, Pastor, and Teacher Isiah King Sr. has been in the gospel ministry of Jesus Christ since 1979. He was raised in a Christian home by both parents who loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He knew in high school at the age of 16, that God had called him into ministry. However, due to immaturity and lack of faith, Isiah did not accept his calling until three years later. With a hunger to equip himself for ministry, he enrolled in American Baptist College. He graduated with an associate’s degree. He then enrolled in Moody Bible institute and received a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies. While the momentum wheel of education was yet turning, Isiah pursued a Master of Ministry degree at Moody Theological Seminary and attained it with great joy.

Isiah King has been married to Nadine Scott-King for 38 years and they have three adult children and 10 grandchildren. God has used them mightily to organize Salvation’s Free Christian Fellowship Church Inc. Due to his military disability, Apostle Isiah King serves in a non-pay status, while his wife serves in the capacity of Pastor/Teacher. Both realize the need to work together as a team, in order to bring about the best results for the work of ministry.  Their vision is to build up the Kingdom of God by letting people know that God loves them with an everlasting love. Having not experienced silence in over nine years, due to tinnitus (ringing in the ears), he lets people know, by living experience, that God’s grace is sufficient, and his strength is made perfect in weakness. He feels confident in saying that the people of God can minister and live faithful to Christ, despite distraction and hindrances. One of his favorite scriptures is, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Phil.4:13).
